  • This year’s theme is “Paz”. As we witness conflict rising in the world we want to invite an intention of peace for this year’s gathering. It will inspire the program, the art, the co-creators,…and hopefully you!

  • Wednesday to Monday:

This year's journey will start on Wednesday 16th of September. The program will kick off Thursday morning after you have had a restful first night under the stars, listening to the sounds of the lake. From Thursday to Monday, you will experience Equilíbrio. Between Nature, Art, Stillness, and Movement. We end each day around midnight to make sure you can be rested for the next one.

    Lineup:

We will announce this year’s artists, facilitators, and musicians during the summer. You can have an idea of what to expect by checking last year’s lineup.

  • 2.5 hours from Lisbon, at the end of a dirt road, you will arrive in Terra da Paz. A 400-hectare land surrounded by the majestic lake of Alqueva.

    Google Maps

  • Volunteers can join for the Build (Sept 8-15), for the Festival (Sept 16-21), and for the Packdown (Sept 21-23)

You might find yourself helping Ned rebuild a stage, climbing trees to connect lights, helping Patricia in the kitchen, helping keep the land clean while dancing, welcoming guests with a hug, serving drinks with a smile, or designing an impactful space.

🎟️ All volunteers will receive one ticket (Apply here)

  • We are looking for Artists, Facilitators, and Musicians who want to share their talents with the Equilíbrio community.

The Equilíbrio program is mostly made up of Co-Creators:

Artists: Last year, Vaila created a Poetree. She hung hundreds of poems in an old Cork Tree and installed a sound system that would recite them for the lucky guests who would lie under it’s branches. It was wonderful. You can suggest an idea like this. You can also be the Art yourself and offer an Art performance.

Facilitators: Last year, dozens of inspiring facilitators organized workshops on the land. You can be one of them this year!

Musicians: Last year, dozens of talented musicians organized DJ sets and Live performances on the land. You can be one of them this year!

All co-creators play with at least one of the Equilíbrio ingredients (Art, Nature, Stillness, and Movement)

🎟️ All co-creators will receive two tickets (Apply here)

  • Are children welcome?

Yes! Equilíbrio is designed with children in mind. We believe little ones bring magic, presence, and curiosity into every moment—they are a vital part of the village.
However, this is not a festival with childcare, and parents are fully responsible for their children at all times.
    We encourage you to:

    • Create soft zones

    • Bring toys for your children

    • Even host small activities for or with children

    Please note:

    • Children under 12 enter for free

    • Young tickets (12–18 years old) must be purchased as an extra ticket. Half sized humans get half price.

For your child’s well-being, please be mindful near the lake, in camping areas, and under the sun.

    Can I bring my pet?

As much as we love animals, no pets are allowed on site. The land is home to wildlife and open terrain. We want to minimize unpredictability and keep everyone safe.

  • How much does all this good stuff cost?

Tickets for 2026 are priced as follows:

    • First Fish: 180€

    • Early Fish: 190€

    • General Fish: 220€

    • Last Fish: 250€

    • Extra Love: 290€

    • Extra Extra Love: 350€

    • Accepted Volunteers and Co-creators will be given a free ticket upon acceptance. Apply to contribute here.

    • Children under 12 year old can attend for free. Children of 12-18 years old can get a Teen Fish ticket at 120€.

What does the ticket price cover?

Your ticket gives you access to all spaces and experiences onsite, as well as basic camping facilities. It’s an all-inclusive journey into art, music, and connection.

Food and drink vendors will be available onsite separately.

My plans have changed. Can I resell my ticket?

We’re sad you can’t make it but if you want to pass your ticket on to someone else, you can do it. Just make sure you send them the QR code that you received in your emails; they’ll need that to get in. Additionally, you can send us their name, number and email to ola@equilibrio.org so we can add them to our listings and they can receive the important informations we will be sending to participants. Hope you can join us next time!

  • What will we eat and drink?

We’ll have a food court with delicious vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian options. Expect wholesome, hearty, soul-filling meals.

A variety of drinks will be available throughout the festival. From warm, comforting beverages to refreshing, healthy beverages. Most of the drink options will be alcohol free.

    • Please bring your own cup or reusable bottle to help us reduce waste.

    • Filtered water will be available across the site.

  • Where will you sleep?
You have a few options to choose from when purchasing your ticket:

    • Bring your own tent: Stay free & natural.

    • Sleep in your van: We have a 25€ fee for van parking inside the campsite because we need more space for your comfort. Buy it here.

    • Rent a glamping tent: Options from a single bed in a 4 person tent to your own privet tent can be purchased here.

    Showers, Toilets & Hygiene
Toilets and showers are available on-site and included in your ticket price. We ask everyone to use biodegradable soap and shampoo only—we’re bathing in nature, not against it. There will be shared handwashing and hygiene stations available throughout the land.

  • Pack the essentials to keep yourself and the land comfortable:

    • Tent, mattress, sleeping bag or blanket (unless you are in glamping or RV)

    • Cup, water bottle, plate, bowl & cutlery — no disposables!

    • Reusable ashtray (if you smoke, which we don’t recommend.)

    • Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat

    • Comfortable clothes for warm days and chilly nights

    • Good walking shoes to sway freely through uneven grounds

    • Flashlight or headlamp

    • Biodegradable toiletries

    • Earplugs if you’re a light sleeper

    • Floaties, paddleboards, lake toys

    • Your open heart & curiosity

    Is it cold at night?
Days are usually warm and dry, but nights can be cool or even chilly.
    Bring:

    • Warm layers

    • A hat and socks for sleeping comfort

  • When should I arrive and leave?

    • Arrive early: You are welcome as of Wednesday, Sept 16, at 5 pm.

    • Opening Ceremony: Friday, Sept 18, 6 pm.

    • Closing Ceremony: Sunday evening, 20th.

    • Goodbye hugs: Monday 21st before noon

Please note: The official programming will start on Thursday, 17th at 10 am. You are welcome to arrive a day earlier to land smoothly with the land and it’s lovely creatures.

  • How do I get there?

Google pin here – it is 2.5 hours drive from Lisbon, (2:40 hours from Faro Airport) about an hour South of Evora. It’s a hilly land on a massive lake. If you have a choice of car, we suggest one that isn’t too low as the ground can be rough!

When you get closer to Equilíbrio, there’s about 20 minutes of dirt road. Follow Herdade da Barbosa signs, pass Herdade do Postoro and you’ll arrive at our main gate shortly after.

    Shuttle Buses & Carpooling

We will organize shuttle buses from Lisbon and share a carpooling sheet closer to the date.

    Purchase your shuttle ticket here

  • Who’s bringing this festival to life?

You are! Equilíbrio is not a passive experience—it’s a shared reality we all co-create. Your presence, energy, and openness are what make this gathering come alive.

And who works behind the scenes??
We’re a group of friends, producers, and creators who care deeply about culture, connection, and land-based gatherings:

    • Tommy, Helena, Claudia, Luís, and Marcella – Our wonderful core production team

    • Igor & Ned – Our strong construction and build team

    • Patricia feeding the crew before, during, and after the event with delicious yummy nom-noms

    • Michael - Our design wizard behind this website and making sure everything flows as smoothly as a calm lake.

We’re not here to profit, but to make something meaningful and sustainable together. Every ticket contributes to fair pay, shared effort, and a future for this project.
